Site prep, demolition, lot clearing and septic systems. Free on-site estimates.

01

Excavation is not just digging holes

Every job starts with a free on-site consultation, so the ground gets read before it gets dug. Nothing starts without the project manager's go-ahead.

How a Shughart job starts

  1. Free on-site consultation

We walk the property with you before anything is quoted.

  2. Read the ground

We assess the kind of preparation your land needs: clearing, grading, rock, drainage.

  3. The go-ahead

No work starts without the project manager's go-ahead.

  4. Dig, grade, haul

Then the machines go to work, and the trucks take away what comes off.

What to know before we dig

Short answers on how we work. Anything else, call the office at (717) 385-1863.

Yes. Every job starts with a free estimate, and for excavation work a free on-site consultation, so the crew can see the ground before quoting. Call (717) 385-1863.

Yes. On a new septic system we work with the township to make sure the system is up to code, and we take care of getting the permits.

No. We will not do any work without the project manager's go-ahead, and the project manager walks you through the whole process before anything is dug.

Both. Contractors, developers and homeowners hire us for demolition, site preparation and septic installation, from a single house lot to big commercial site work.

Our truckers haul it. We tear the structure down and take the materials to a local dumpsite, or move fill and material from one site to another if you need it kept.

We work in Carlisle, PA and the surrounding areas. If you are unsure whether your property is covered, give the office a call at (717) 385-1863.
